Carlos Tevez to be named as Journeyman after Playing for Several Clubs

Carlos Tevez will be regarded as a journeyman in football after having played for several clubs like West Ham, Manchester United, Manchester City and Juventus only in European football.

After having returned to Argentina in the summer to play for his hometown club Boca Juniors, this was seen as a last move for the striker. Given that he is 32 years of age, this move would comfortably see him towards the end of his career with no need of moving elsewhere. This may not be the case after Tevez’ agent claimed that a move to China may be on the cards.

The player’s representative, Adrian Ruocco, claimed that Tevez must be extremely happy when he is playing his football. If that is not the case, then he may look elsewhere for a place to call as home. Upon his return to Argentine football, Tevez has found it difficult to adapt immediately. The player has scored only three goals in eight league appearances for his new club. These are not satisfactory figures for someone who is receiving a lot of wages. His poor form has resulted in Boca Juniors struggling in the sixth place. The form of the club has to improve quite rapidly if they are to challenge for titles at the end of the season.

“Carlos has two or three years remaining in his career and he could go to China or Saudi. He has to enjoy playing once more, otherwise he may want to leave in June,” said Tevez’ agent in response to fresh transfer speculation surrounding the striker. The massive amount of investment from rich owners in the Chinese super league has resulted in a revolution. A number of South American players like Ramires have joined this league in the last few months. They have the ability to sign a player like Tevez on massive wages.
