Real Sociedad are reportedly looking to partner Carlos Vela

Real Sociedad are reportedly looking to partner Carlos Vela with English forward Danny Ings.

Due to the presence of British coach David Moyes, the Spanish club have been linked with a move for the Burnley forward. He is out of contract in a few months and the 22-year-old will be a great foil for Vela. The Mexican forward had an injury ravaged campaign has he managed only 29 appearances in all competitions. A return of 10 goals meant that David Moyes had a big headache when it comes to finding a regular goalscorer. Hence, it is understood that the Scot has put forward the name of Ings.

The Spanish club, though, admitted that it will not be easy to attract the 22-year-old since he already has a lot of offers from top clubs in England. At this age, he would be more interested in staying in his home country rather than move to a foreign club. Sociedad also had to dismiss rumours about manager Moyes leaving the club after just one season in Spain. The former Everton boss has been linked with a return to English football. Sociedad president Jokin Aperribay says that there have been no offers for the manager, who is set to stay at the club until 2016.

"Moyes has never spoken to us about this.If anything, we have heard these rumours from the media. He has never suggested the possibility to go back to England. We made an important structural decision by bringing in David Moyes last year. He has been planning for next season since the month of January. We have monitored him since the winter transfer market. But we have not spoken to Ings' entourage for almost a month now. I don't think he's an easy candidate to arrive to La Real,” saidAperribay.
