FANS MOCK ARSENAL AFTER MISSING OUT ON BUENDIA SIGNING

English Premier League side Arsenal have had hard luck in recent times both on and off the pitch and it has continued to take a big toll on the club's progress. The Gunners have continued to drift far away from the big-name clubs in the English Premier League and according to the recent happenings around them, it's not looking like they will be bouncing back immediately anytime soon.

Just recently, the north London club were said to be interested in signing Argentine attacking midfielder Emiliano Buendia from recently promoted side Norwich City but the deal fell through and they eventually missed out on signing the player. Aston Villa were the eventual winners in the race to sign the player and it further showed how Arsenal have slowed down in recent years in terms of completing several decisions regarding on-field and off-field activities.

Arsenal failed to meet Norwich's valuation of the player and were eventually knocked out by Aston Villa's determination to get their target. While Arsenal insisted that they were not going to pay up to the £35 million price that the Canaries were asking for, Aston Villa paid up the amount at the second time of asking.

Following the outcome of events, some Arsenal fans took to social media to vent out their displeasure and some also went further to mock the club because of the way they have been handling their transfer businesses in recent times.

One fan notably commented under an Instagram post and made a mockery of the London club by asking them to go sign their former player Carlos Vela from the United States Major League Soccer giants Los Angeles Galaxy.

Some other fans liked and reacted to the post as they continued to try to pass a message across to the Arsenal board to start making more valuable decisions.
