CARLOS VELA LINKED WITH LAFC EXIT

Los Angeles Football Club star Carlos Vela has been linked with a potential exit from the club, much to the fear of the club's fans. Vela has been one of the club's best players in recent years and has also been an integral part of the club since joining them some years ago. The forward played a part in LAFC's run in the FIFA Club World Cup and also helped guide them to the competition, making them the first-ever Major League Soccer side to feature in a FIFA Club World Cup tournament.

However, they would fall to a defeat to Mexican outfit Tigres UANL after they lost concentration and conceded two goals in quick succession despite scoring the opening goal. The Mexican outfit then knocked out the American giant club out of the competition and would then go on to lose the final to German Bundesliga giants Bayern Munich.

It's almost four years since Los Angeles Football Club came into existence after bursting onto the scene back in 2018 and since their inception, they have been able to enjoy a couple of runs in Major League Soccer, making them one of the best clubs in the division. This has been largely to the contributions of Carlos Vela, the club captain, with all of his goals and efforts he has been injecting into the team.

And now, with reports claiming that he could be leaving the club, there's every reason for the fans to be worried because he's their star player. According to reports, he has been linked with a move to China and Australia, with the likes of Shanghai Shenhua and Western Sydney Wanderers showing interest in snapping him up.

He was recently asked about his future but he reiterated that he's currently an LAFC player and would love it to continue that way.
